2.
Then you'll receive Miniballots to respond to
You’ll start receiving text messages with various survey links. We aim for 1-3 a month. These could be for your input on a particular city issue, or a general inquiry about what’s on your mind or ideas you may have.

Your input becomes part of a growing collection of ideas that help civic leaders—and the community—understand what people truly want and need.
DemocracyOS ensures no great idea is lost. When you share something, it's not forgotten, ready to be recalled when relevant or to reveal unexpected patterns. For instance, a suggestion about improving public transit could resurface when the city revisits infrastructure planning. Or a proposal for more green spaces might connect with rising concerns about air quality. Traditional public comments can’t create these kinds of insights.

3.
Finally, we tell you how your input is having an impact.
After the survey window closes, we prepare a report summarizing the results. We always let you know who is reading the report, and when. We aim for a principle of Total Representation: meaning that the message of every piece of input is reflected in the report — so that your voice, and all of your neighbors voices, truly have an impact.
